Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, I thank you that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. When I speak the truth in love I am releasing your life through me. To know the truth means I know Jesus and have faith in him. Faith in Jesus as the son of God makes me free from the stain of all my sins, past, present and future. How many times did Jesus say, ‘I tell you the truth’ In the bible?” He knew it was hard for us to believe the truth of what he was saying but he wanted us to know the importance of his words. He earnestly desired for us to believe him because he knew the cost we would pay if we didn't. Father you want all to be saved and have given us all we need to join you in everlasting life. You are not a man that you would lie. Jesus is the word of truth in flesh form and showed us what our noble inheritance looks like as he reflected your love and wisdom. As a result of our faith in Jesus we have the joy of being set free from the corruption of this world and all the sin surrounding me. When I give my life to Jesus he becomes the truth that lives his life through me. In Jesus name, amen.
