Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, keep me forever in the center of your love, enfold me in your loving arms and surround me with your peace. You are always near with words of comfort and healing. You still my troubled soul with your gentle touch and always understand my ruffled emotions. You always listen when I am confused and angry and reach out to you for your wisdom and direction. Your mercy washes over me when I fail and stumble along the way. You pick me up and tenderly kiss my wounds. Oh, how I love you and long to live in the shelter of your love. When I am rejected and misunderstood, when people disappoint me and say unkind things to hurt me, you are near to heal my broken heart. You assure me of your love and encourage me with your truth. It is my honor to be your child and know that you will never leave me or forsake me. Your love is unconditional. Don't let my heart grow cold, or distant from you. Don’t ever let me grow weary in well doing for you will always reward my efforts. You cover me with your mercy as I wait for the fulfillment of your promises and the reward of eternal life. I long for the day when I will meet you face to face and feel the warmth of your embrace. In Jesus name, amen.
