Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, You are the God who sees both the battles around us and the battles within. Strength comes from You alone—strength for our hands and strength for our hearts. When conflict shakes our homes, our nation, or our spirit, You remain steady and righteous. We confess how easily we drift toward pride, self-defense, and the urge to strike back. We guard our own honor when You call us to guard the vulnerable. Yet Your Spirit whispers, Be still. Teach us mercy over vengeance and restraint over reaction. Show us that true power bows before You and fights for peace, unity, and obedience. Equip us for the better battle—the one that shapes our character and aligns our hearts with Your will. And remind us always that the story is Yours, and You are still at work. Amen.
