Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, you said that if I delight in you, you will grant me my heart's desire and make all my plans to prosper. It is never your intention to withhold any good thing from your children. As I continue to follow the leading of your holy spirit you will direct my footsteps and lead me on the path of righteousness. As I live in accordance with the truth of your word I will find favor in your sight. I believe that as I offer my heart to you to be purified and cleansed, you will place new desires in my heart. My desires will no longer be for the things the world craves but my desires will be for those things that bring honor to your name and give purpose to my life. Fame is fleeting, riches are deceptive, but to know you and the wisdom of your ways is my heart's desire. You will bless all I put my hands to and you will cause me to prosper because I am fulfilling your purpose for my life. When I understand the reason you gave me life and flow in harmony with the gifts you gave me I find joy and my heart's desire. Thank you that I will always walk in victory as I walk in obedience to your word. In Jesus name, amen.
