Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, Help me to understand the significance of this time and season in my life. You have birthed me into this time for a specific purpose. I am not here by accident. I am here to accomplish a part of a special mission you have planned for my life at this time. Help me be sensitive to the whispers of your Holy Spirit as you guide me into your purpose. Help me to not be unwise in the use of my time or foolish in allowing myself to be distracted with things that are worthless and have no significance. I spent too much time wasting time in sin and foolishness. Redeem the time Lord, and turn my days into days of power and productivity. The days are becoming more and more evil as people turn away from you and follow the lusts of their own flesh. You warned us that the last days would grow increasingly evil. I see it happening more and more each day. I feel the oppression surrounding me and pray you will keep me lord from the compromises that surround me and help me walk upright before you in the midst of a perverse and crooked generation. Show me what you would have me do. I yield to your will and ways Lord. In Jesus name, amen.
