Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear heavenly father, it grieves my heart to read about the hardness of heart and the blindness of your people. They chose to have Pilot release a murderer rather than the author of life who came to save the world. Jesus you are the author and finisher of our faith and the captain of salvation. That is what the Prince of life means and we were eyewitnesses of the fact that we saw God raise him from the dead. God Glorified his son and gave him power over death itself that he may give eternal life to all those who believe in him. I love that he came that I might have life. He came to teach me the wonders of God’s miracle working power and how to live in the peace and grace of God. I can only love because you first loved me. Without your grace I would be like one of those blinded to the truth and crucified the Prince of my life eternal. Open my eyes Lord that I might always see your truth surrounding me and that I might shine your light into the darkness of men's hearts. I love you Lord, there is no one like you and I will follow you into eternity as I seek to serve you.
