Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear heavenly Father, thank You that You are my God and good Shepherd, my provider and sanctifier. Thank You that You are the Lord of Hosts who made heaven and earth by the power of Your mighty hand. I am humbled and overjoyed that you chose me to be your child and a member of your eternal family. You called me out of the pits of despair and established me in your household. Thank You for the lessons I’ve learned through the life and times of David- whom You chose to be Israel's greatest king and the under-shepherd of Your people. Thank You that you can use those whose heart is right before you. Cleanse my heart oh Lord and renew a right spirit with in me. Teach me to keep my spirit clean from the pollution of the world so I can rightly divide your word and hear accurately what your spirit has to say. Cleanse my ears from any distorted lies the enemy tries to whisper and keep me from deception. I pray you will use me to extend your kingdom. It is my joy to hear your voice and obey your word, I know you are near and I delight in saying “Yes, Lord, send me.”- this I ask in Jesus' name, amen.
