Midday Prayer on Genesis 3:9

Dear Lord, You are our Refuge and Redeemer. With heavy hearts, we confess that, like Adam and Eve, we too have hidden ourselves, cloaked in the shadows of shame and disobedience. Yet, in Your boundless grace and mercy, You didn’t leave us concealed in guilt. Today, we lift up a shout of praise because your grace has rid us of shame! Because of the cross, we no longer have to hide from You. The stains of our sins are washed away, and the burden of our guilt is lifted. We rejoice, for in Your sacrifice and love, we can now stand before You unashamed, declaring with bold hearts, “Here we are!” May we always treasure the profound gift of salvation, walking confidently in the light of Your love, embraced fully by Your presence. Amen
