Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear God, Source of all life and the foundation of existence—Blessed are You, who spoke, and the universe came into being. You called forth the heavens and the earth, bringing life, light, and love from the void. With Your word, You sculpted the cosmos, casting stars into the dark expanse and filling the world with the breath of life. Your word shaped the universe and our lives. You brought order from chaos and light to the darkness. We pray earnestly and with faith that you will do this in our lives. Calm our anxious hearts and bring light where we are lost. We acknowledge that just as you created the heavens and earth, you can also create life within us – a new life that glorifies you. You have given us a reservoir of potential and purpose. Teach us to harness this divine gift, to nurture the seeds of life You have sown within each of us. Help us to live like you, bearers of Your light and stewards of Your love. Grant us the strength to mirror Your creative power in our deeds, reflecting Your glory through acts of kindness and justice. In your name, we pray, Amen.
