Written prayerDear Lord, You are the God of justice and the fountain of endless mercy. In a world that urges us toward retaliation, teach us to walk in Your higher way. We confess how easily anger rises within us, how quickly we long to return hurt for hurt. Yet Your call is greater—to forgive as You forgive, to offer grace even when our hearts resist it. Give us the courage of David, who chose restraint when revenge was within reach. Help us trust that You see every moment and will make all things right in Your perfect timing. Shape our hearts to reflect Your wisdom and compassion, so we may carry peace into a broken world. Let our responses point others to Your goodness as we surrender every battle into Your hands. Thank You for Your patience and for leading us toward life. Amen.
