Global Prayer on Psalm 62:5

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

Psalm 62:5 · KJV

The prayer

Written prayer

Dear Lord, I stand in awe before you. My heart is still before the one I love. I wait expectantly for your gentle whispers to fill my spirit with joy. I wait for your instructions. What do you want me to do and where are we going next? I love to linger in your presence and meditate on the beauty of your face and the power of your word. When I remove all the distractions and hunker down with you it is the sweetest time of refreshing. It is in those times you reveal yourself to me as my loving father and your tenderness surrounds me. Our time together is not about warfare or petitions or requests it's about relationships. It’s about enjoying your company and just being in your presence. I don’t want anything from you Lord, I just want to love you and be near you. It’s not about ministry or saving the world; it's about relaxing and loving each other. It's about feeling your heartbeat and drinking in the sweet perfume of your love. Those are the times that build my faith and refresh my soul and cause me to say “yes, Lord” I will follow you anywhere you go. I don’t ever want to be separated from your love. In Jesus name, amen.
