Midday Prayer on Psalm 145:8

Dear Lord, You are gracious and full of compassion. In a world that feels unstable and uncertain, You remain steady and kind. When chaos surrounds us, You are our calm. When we are weak, You are our strength. We confess our frailty, Lord, and our tendency to rely on our own understanding. Forgive us for the moments we lose sight of Your goodness in the storm. Remind us that Your mercy never fades and that Your patience is not absence: it is love. Strengthen our faith when fear rises within us. Keep our hearts soft when the world hardens around us. Teach us to wait with hope, trusting that Your timing is perfect. You are faithful through every trial, and Your love endures forever. We rest in Your compassion, Lord, and trust that You will bring peace in the end. Amen.
