Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, forgive me for my lethargy and carelessness toward sin. Help me to "arise" out of the deadness of my sin. Lord, shine your light on me that this darkness that surrounds me will flee. The world is full of violence and distorted truths that pollute my spirit. Little by little, the purity of my passion for you becomes corroded until I am empty inside. Lord, have mercy on me and lift me from this tomb of compromise and restore the light of life to me that I might live in the joy of my salvation. Teach me to avoid the uncleanness of this world so I can be refreshed in your love. Amen.
