Today’s prayer
Written prayerHallelujah! I will praise you heavenly Father, all the days of my life for your overwhelming goodness. Each day I have breath is a new day to delight in you. Walking under your heavens and smelling your beautiful flowers is a gift of love. Having eyes to see the richness of your majestic handy work and ears to hear the songs of the birds more wondrous than I could imagine. Never let me take these blessings for granted because there are those who are less fortunate. I pray you will comfort them with your goodness in special ways. Your mercies are new every morning and they will never end. I once thought you rationed out miracles and that I couldn’t expect them all the time. Forgive me for my lack of faith. I now know that you delight in blessing your children. You are a wonderful father and attend to the needs and cries of your children. It makes you smile when you see how happy I am with what you are doing in and through my life. Each day is a new day to praise you and encounter your goodness. Help me appreciate the simple blessings and enjoy just being alive. Life is a gift and it flies by so fast. All that is done for you will last. Let me rejoice in your goodness everyday I open my eyes. In Jesus name, amen.
