Today’s prayer
Written prayerJesus, give me courage not to be ashamed of standing up and declaring my faith when I am mistreated. There are many people who don’t know you and think me foolish for believing in you. I’ve seen them roll their eyes and shake their heads when I mention your name. It hurts my heart, but I am afraid of facing their rejection. Forgive me Lord, for wanting there approval more than yours. I know you are the one true living God who died in my place. I do love you, Lord. Please release me from the fear of man. Your approval does mean more to me than any one else’s. Keep me strong Lord, when I face these challenges. Amen.
