Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, all my life I’ve been told to be strong – don’t let others see your weakness. And now you’re telling me that your grace is revealed when I am weak, and your power rests on my human frailties. This confuses my natural thinking. Give me the courage to be vulnerable. You know how to keep me humble when I start to think too highly of myself. Tear down the pride I try to hide behind. When I feel too weak to overcome the struggles I face, cause me to run to you, lord, and acknowledge my need for you. I am dependent on your grace to do what only you can do for me. Amen.
