Today’s prayer
Written prayerThank you, Jesus, for your shed blood that created a new covenant of grace. It is through your blood that I receive forgiveness from my sins. Your blood washed away my sins when I accepted, by faith, your work on the cross, and asked you to forgive me. It is by faith in you that I enter into your eternal kingdom. My life is no longer my own since I was bought with a price more precious than gold or silver. The blood of Jesus purchased me from sin. When I hear them sing, "What a friend we have in Jesus," I know the truth of these words. You are my glorious Lord, and I call you my friend. Amen.
