The prayer
Written prayerFather, everything Jesus did came out of his great love and humility. I can only rejoice at the mercy and gentleness of my great king. I want to shout out your name and proclaim that you are the hope of salvation and you will execute justice for all mankind. There is none, nor will there ever be, anyone like you. You are the king of glory and all the kingdoms of the world belong to you. You are not like the proud conquerors of the earth seeking a great spectacle of pomp and circumstance. You came humbling riding on the back of a donkey. You related to the plight of the common man yet you were the king of kings that came to break the power of wickedness. You did not come as a mighty warlord to conquer by force but you overcame evil with good. Love was the weapon of choice you used to win the hearts and souls of mankind and in doing so defeated the destructive forces of evil. I love you Lord, and my heart is filled with gratitude for all you have done for me and all mankind. Let me always remember the baby that was born to die in order to save the world for all eternity. In Jesus name, amen.
