Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, I don’t know how you tolerate the presence of Satan when he comes before you to degrade your people. He is the accuser of the brethren, and accuses them right to your face day and night. He hates your children and is nothing but a lying slanderer. He will say anything to slander them with lies and falsehoods. He is not only your adversary, but the adversary of everyone of your people who acknowledges you as the Lord of their life. Forgive me Lord for the anger I have in my heart towards this evil treachery. You see the end in the beginning. You are able to take what satan designs for evil and turn it to good. You know he is doomed for destruction. You allow his tactics to teach me how to war in the spiritual realm. It is not flesh and blood but powers and principalities we overcome. Every victory I gain over him makes me stronger. Every lie I refute with your truth draws me closer to you. Every battle I face causes my faith to grow. It amazes me to think that you chose 12 disciples knowing one of them would betray you. You knew you would have the ultimate victory at the cross. Help me live in the place of victory knowing Satan is already defeated and I can declare that truth with authority and power, In Jesus, name, amen.
