Today’s prayer
Written prayerAs the deer longs for water to revive him, I long for your nearness, Lord, to refresh me. Lead me beside your still waters so I can rest in you. As I travel though my day the dust of this world parches my soul. There is no life in the world’s words and only negativity and confusion. I am surrounded by darkness. But, when I left my head to worship you, I feel the outpouring of your grace flowing over me, refreshing my soul. Lord, keep me saturated in your love and filled with the water of your word so I can be a fountain of refreshing to all those I meet today. Amen.
