Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, you know the depth of my thoughts and motives. I am good at rationalizing and reasoning away my sin. Only you can expose the deception hiding in my heart. I trust you to search me with your unconditional love and cleanse me from any distorted thoughts. You’re not exposing the lies to punish me but to correct me and draw me closer to you. Because I know you love me I can yield to your truth. You are not condemning me but untangling any errors in my thinking. Thank you, Lord, that you are my wonderful teacher, healer, and friend. Give me the courage to always yield to your hand of correction and withhold nothing from you. Amen.
