Today’s prayer
Written prayerThank you, Lord, for making me rest in the freshness of your green meadow beside the gentle stream of still waters. Sometimes I am too stubborn to know how good I have it with you. Help me not to run off chasing the foolishness of the world. Help me find contentment as I relax in your peaceful protection and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Thank you for the rest you bring as I abide in you. You know what I need. Thank you for causing me to receive from your hand of goodness. Thank you that you are my total sufficiency. Amen.
