Global Prayer on Acts 5:31

Father God, you exalted your son Jesus with all authority as Prince and heir to all your promises, as well as saviour of the world. You, heavenly father, are the King of Kings and your son, our Lord and saviour, is the true Prince of Peace. Repentance is a gift from God and without His grace we will never see the error of our ways, and without repentance there is no forgiveness of sins or repentance unto life. It is your desire that all shall be saved and not perish, even your own people who rejected you and did not receive you. In your mercy you give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. Thank you, Lord for your kind forgiveness and understanding. You are quick to forgive those who offer true repentance and a sincere desire to change. Help me to always be quick to repent and ask for your forgiveness. Don’t let my heart grow cold and try to justify my sins but repent quickly that I might be restored and refreshed. The guilt and shame of sin is a heavy weight to carry and repentance and forgiveness release that burden and help me stand upright in your presence. Wash me clean O’ Lord and renew a right spirit within me. In Jesus name, amen.
