Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, if it were not for your son who came to redeem me, I would be lost to sin forever. Adam left a legacy of sin, and I’m born into his sin nature. No one is righteous in Adam. We are destined to live out our days with that nature until we accept the plan for our salvation through Christ. Thank you for breaking the power of sin off my life and giving me a new legacy of grace. Jesus, you purchased me with your life and delivered me from bondage. It is the righteousness of Christ that covers me and allows me to stand in your presence and be accepted by the Father. Amen.
