“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up and went off to a solitary place where He prayed (Mark 1:35). We can turn to the life of Jesus to understand the place of prayer in His life and the way the Father responded to Him.
God wants to share what’s on His heart and direct your every moment. There is no possibility of a believer being used without prayer that initiates the Spirit’s enabling presence. His power is inaugurated when you pray and surrender your will. Any assignment God gives you needs to be accompanied by sincere, immediate, and persistent prayer. He responds when we recognize and rely on His strength.
Let’s not become content living with our strength alone. We cannot ask God to bless our endeavors without asking Him for direction first. He doesn’t want our abilities; He wants our availability. When God has access to our lives, there is no limit to what He can do. So let’s begin the journey by praying over our calendars and appointing time to pray daily.
