Even though Easter Day has passed, don’t let your celebration of the Risen Christ end. When we experience His Resurrection every day, we have the H.O.P.E. that God promises us. Let’s walk through this acronym:

• H is for humbling yourself. We often lose hope because we put it in ourselves. Hoping in Jesus always results in renewed faith.

• O is for opening your heart. Jesus says He stands at the door and knocks, and He is waiting for you to open it to Him.

• P is for professing your faith in Jesus. Many have not experienced the genuine hope that Jesus brings. We are called to share about who died for them.

• E is for embracing the future God has for you. The thief, Satan, wants to destroy our lives, but Jesus came to give us life abundantly.

You can choose to embrace and enjoy life today and forever because you have genuine hope, not just wishful thinking. You can expect the best because you know Jesus is alive. And you are confident you are going to Heaven.

Lord, I repent of my sins. I believe and trust in you as my Savior. I ask you to forgive me and change me. Make me your child. I receive you. By the power of your Spirit, may I now live for you all the days of my life until I see you face to face. Amen.
