Scripture
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Devotional
Family is a precious gift from God but not without challenges. We may feel like the only ones struggling while others seem perfect on social media. However, it’s essential to understand that every family faces difficulties. Jesus Himself said we would have tribulations in this fallen world.
Even the strongest Christians, like the Apostle Paul, encountered trials and temptations. It’s unrealistic to expect a perfect family, but the good news is that God’s grace is available to us. His grace can transform our families, heal brokenness, and restore relationships. By seeking God’s guidance and putting His Word into practice, we can experience family’s joys despite our trials. Remember, as followers of Jesus, He promises to be with us through the storms of trouble.
Prayer
Lord, encourage our hearts. And for those going through terrible storms right now, help them fix their eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfector of faith. Help them to know, Lord, that You will see them through. As David said, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. We thank You for Your grace, which is sufficient, abundant, and meets our needs. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
