In today's episode of The Daily Pursuit, hosted by Tim Tebow, we sit with Zephaniah 3:17 — a verse that arrives near the end of a book full of warnings and judgment — declaring that the Lord is in our midst as a victorious warrior who rejoices over His people with shouts of joy, a reminder that God doesn't merely put up with us but delights in us, not because of anything we've earned, but because Jesus took the judgment we deserved. Tim challenges listeners to take a couple of minutes before doing anything else today to simply sit still — no prayer list, no trying to fix anything — and let it sink in that God is glad about them, with no performance attached.
