This is gonna be an exciting broadcast because we're talking about a very important subject.0:46 We're talking about children, but I'm gonna tell you even something more about God rescuing a generation of children. And we've got a very special guest today with us, Brenda.0:58 Well, we're excited.0:59 To help us. Paul Crouch junior here on the broadcast today.1:02 Thank you.1:03 Thank you, Paul, for being a part of it. And we have a goal today on the program to talk about what has been happening. There's so much in the news, so much talk about the1:14 literal attack on young people. We've seen this, everything from the youngest of the unclear up to the college age, the millennials. And, you know, it's been a passion, you know, of Hank's and1:26 ours to provide a new era of children's entertainment. Right. And we wanted you on the program today so that we could talk about all of these materials that Hank has put out.1:38 We're gonna be telling all of you that are watching how to get a hold of some amazing bundles we've put together, because we want to interrupt the enemy's plans in every household from1:50 what the devil is trying to sow into our kids. But, Paul, today, we're specifically honing in on the animation piece1:57 Right.1:59 And kinda what has been your experience on what is being fed to our kids and what we need to do to take it back.2:04 Yeah. You know, what's what's crazy is when we grew up, we grew up in a 2 screen world. There was either the movie theater or the TV set. Right.2:14 You know, maybe 2 TVs in your house.2:15 Well, maybe. But the movie theater was easy to protect your kids from because you wouldn't let them go. Right. TV was protected by the Federal Communications Commission, and we had Saturday morning cartoons.2:26 Mhmm.2:27 Pretty pure. With the Internet, here's the problem. The Internet is a 2 edged sword. It is bringing unbelievable opportunities to Christians. You guys are taking2:39 advantage of it, evangelizing the world using the Internet through OVTV and other sources. The problem is it also gives the enemy an end to our homes, into our2:50 children, and most of the time an end through this. So we have got to create godly centered content to really fight what the world is trying3:02 to to kind of indoctrinate our children with. It's absolutely insidious. And you have done these, we won't get into the history of the comic3:14 books, and these are amazing. But taking a comic book and making animation or a cartoon out of it is like taking a go kart and making an f 1 racer3:24 out of it. Wow.3:25 It's a3:25 lot of work. You have to do voices, sound effects, every music, every frame is like 30 different drawings that have to be done by hand.3:36 And it's not it's not a cheap form of of Exactly.3:41 And that's why Christians many times did not get into animation because of the expense. And even at TBN, it was too expensive for us many many times. But here's3:52 what is just really scares me because I have grandchildren. My kids are grown, but I have young grandchildren. They are being exposed to some of the most heinous4:04 things that you can think of. You sent me about a year and a half ago to Comic Con. Comic Con is where kids and people come together, and they actually,4:17 kinda celebrate the comic book industry. Now parts of Comic Con are kind of fun and kind of campy, but look at what I mean, there's 6 year old children walking around this4:29 Walking around in this4:30 as you say. Welcome to Comic Con hell. Mhmm. The homo heroes. This is a series of comic books targeted at our children.4:39 It's crazy.4:40 That are all transgendered. Horrible. I mean, I when I walked by this, I literally I thought I had stepped into hell. Oh. So there's just all kinds of things. You know,4:51 the trans movement is huge in the comic book world. It's coming through cartoons. It's coming through Disney. It's coming through5:00 Yes.5:00 Some channels that are just scary. And then you have just the pure evil side of5:05 Occult.5:05 You know, the occult, the devil, the boogeyman, Chucky, that want to I'd really just take our children and drag them to hell.5:15 I mean, these are hideous.5:16 I mean, imagine waking up to that.5:19 It's horrible. Yeah. Horrible.5:21 And and here here's what so many yeah. I actually ran into the devil there. I I bound him in Jesus' name.5:27 Oh my goodness.5:28 He he ran away. But5:29 Oh, wow.5:30 It was it was just crazy what was there. But here's what we've gotta do, guys. You know, we could sit and curse the darkness all day. But here's, I believe, our calling and5:42 those of you who will help us and support us, we're gonna light a candle in the darkness.5:47 Yes.5:48 And that's what this is all about. We want to just give kids like you said, you don't wanna preach to them. These are what I call covertly Christian,Creating Godly Entertainment: Lighting the Candle 6:00 not overtly Christian. Yes. You know, the gospel is in here.6:03 When you were at, the Com Con or whatever they call it6:07 Yeah.6:07 We had our books there. You brought our books there, and they were cleared out. They they are. People were looking for this stuff.6:14 I brought6:15 a a box6:16 full of zepto comic books, and there was 1 Christian table in this whole world of of ugliness. And I put the whole box there. You can see it. And within about6:28 30 minutes, they were gone. Wow. Children ran to this. Parents were going, I didn't realize there was an alternative in comic books to the evil that's out there.6:37 Really good.6:38 So we've got to keep this going. We've got to push the envelope. But, you know, the other thing that is coming to us is the animation element of the garbage that's out there. Yes. I think I6:50 told you guys there is a animated series called Skibbity Toilet. This is on YouTube, and it is something that's growing like crazy out7:02 there where this these heads pop out of toilets and, you know, they sing these awful songs that are just7:09 Just straight from the pit of hell.7:10 Really is. I mean, absolutely just evil. There you're seeing it on the screen, and, we don't even wanna play the audio at this point. I think the video is enough to see what's out there. And the7:22 other scary part is they are doing what you guys talked about, taking that into dolls, taking it into toys. This is not some crazy, toy7:34 store in the middle of nowhere. This is Target. Mhmm. Walmart and Target are carrying Skibbity toilet on the main shelf right in the middle of the toy aisle.7:46 And that, when I saw that, I really I I almost wept to see what the devil will do to try to regain and grab our children. But like I said, we have got to7:58 reclaim a generation, and we've got the tools to do it.8:01 Well and Paul, you would say it's fair to say there's almost nothing wholesome anymore that is trustworthy. You know, I hear of parents that say, you know, I thought I put my little kid8:13 in front of a cartoon that was seemingly innocent,8:17 and8:17 yet they walked back in the room and they were casting spells and teaching them spell terminology, witchcraft terms, and just subtly pushed into what seems like a simple8:29 cartoon. Mhmm. And so I think to your 0.1 of our goals has been with all of, you know, Hank's children's materials is to have some zany8:41 cartoons, the the old Rocky and Bullwinkle age group, and just put it out there so the kids can laugh.8:48 And good quality. I think that is the key is, you know, if you're gonna have alternatives that's gonna get kids' attentions and families. Right? Yes. And it's gonna compete. It's gotta be high quality. Our stuff9:00 is high quality, And I did it on purpose. Yep. You know, so that we can alter, you know, give an alternative that is gonna have high quality Amen. Not just in humor, but just in the in the identifiable9:13 characters and things that, you know, we are presenting.9:16 Well, I think 1 of your goals is to Paul's point is, you know, we wanna get these in toys, and we're gonna talk animation on the second half of the program, and we're gonna show people how they can9:28 help us and get all of these materials. And I feel like 1 of the passions is if we can get something in every home, it increases the financial base, but it also rescues9:40 1 more child. Yep. And then word-of-mouth. 1 more child tells another child and on it goes. And just to be able to recapture the minds of kids and give them something else Mhmm. That parents can9:52 trust. And I think that's been Hank's heart. But 1 thing I love about Hank's cartooning and children's materials, not, as you said, overtly Christian.10:00 Mhmm.10:00 It is Christian, and there's but there's touches in there that are just good moral themes, and I think that's what we're all about.
