0:00 We started at the beginning of the year a new series entitled An Unbreakable Joy. And as we think about really what it means to have an unbreakable joy, we've been plowing through, the book of Philippians andThe Path to Unbreakable Joy 0:12 we've seen 2 things so far. Gonna see the third 1 today. Thought number 1 in week 1 is if we're gonna have an unbreakable joy, then we need to live a connected life. Well there's so many studies0:24 and so much research done about how detrimental living in isolation is for people. Not just relationally, but also emotionally and spiritually in every way, and so we0:36 want to live a connected life. If you miss that, go find it online. Then the next week we looked at the reality, sometimes we live in a life but things go bad. We live a life where regardless of our0:48 planning, regardless of our desire, things just go wrong. Paul never planned to be in chains, but he still encouraged us, when life goes wrong, you still need to learn to live right. And so whatever's0:59 going on in your life, let me encourage you, man be godly in every circumstance, in every space, in every place. And today, we want to understand, if we're going to have true joy, an unbreakable joy, we have to live with1:11 a true humility. And as we think about the best example of all humility, it's always Jesus. He is our example, who although he existed in the very form of God, he was God, he chose to1:23 become a man. Now a lot of people and a lot of theologians are like, what must that have been like for Jesus? Some people say, well, imagine you've been a king all your life, and all of a sudden you wake up1:35 1 day and you're not the king, you're the servant. That would be pretty significant, wouldn't it? That'd be a hard thing to swallow that I was the king, now I'm the king's servant. But the reality of it is, you're still1:47 human and and you still are in the palace. So although it would be bad, it wouldn't be the worst. CS Lewis, that great theologian of yesteryear, great philosopher of yesteryear, he was pondering on this. So1:58 what must it have been like for Jesus to leave heaven and to be born as a baby in Bethlehem they would eventually be delivered in the hands of sinful men, nailed to a2:10 cross for sins that you didn't commit, and to die. CS Lewis in pondering it, he said probably the thing you and I might understand, he said, perhaps you2:22 didn't wake up tomorrow after being the king and a servant. Perhaps you woke up tomorrow and you were a slug. How many of you remember and know a slug? What does a slug do?2:34 It basically just leaves a trail to the dog food outside on the patio. How many of us know that? Alright, but he says it's not just that, that you would wake up as a slug because if you had lived all your life as2:46 a slug, you wouldn't know anything but slug things, I guess. I don't know what things they know. But imagine you went to bed tonight as who you are, you woke up tomorrow as a slug, having your2:58 full mental capacities, remembering the life that you live, and you consistently and constantly thought about how awesome it was to be a human. That you used3:10 to drive cars and live in houses, and you used to be able to walk or run or do this or fly on planes and go to beaches, but all of a sudden you're a slug. He goes, that comes close3:22 to what it must have been like for Jesus to leave heaven and come to earth. So as we've been journeying through this book, remember week chapter 1, again, if you missed any of these, go look3:34 at them. Philippians chapter 1 verse 3, Paul talks to us from a Roman prison about the reality even when life goes wrong, you can still be joyful. Here's what he3:46 says in verse 3. He says I always thank God every time I remember you. He's talking about the church in Philippi, he's in a Roman prison. He goes in all of my prayers for all of you, I always3:58 pray with joy. What an incredible thought. That regardless of what's going on in Paul's life, Paul says I pray, but I pray with joy every time I remember you. Regardless of my circumstances, I4:09 can't have joy. We've said that 1 of the major themes in this book, that's why we titled this series Ununbreakable Joy, is that regardless of what's going on in your life, you can have joy, I can have joy if we learn to4:21 live well. Then notice verse 5. He says because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. Joy is, Paul is saying I can still have joy every time I think about you4:33 because of what God is doing in your life. Paul is probably also conversely saying, you know, I'm not that joyful every time I think about me. But when I think about you, I'm joyful. When I4:45 think about me, I'm not. When I think about you, I'm excited. When I think about me, I'm not. And so that's the challenge for us all, to think about somebody other than ourselves. Now as we fast forward to 1 of the4:57 verses we're going to look at today, talking about true humility, that's our passage today. Look at it in Philippians chapter 2 verse 5. He says in your relationships with 1 another, have the same mindset5:10 as Christ Jesus had. What was Jesus' mind? We're gonna see it over and over again. I'm gonna share a few verses today, that although he existed in the very form of God, he chose to be man.5:23 When he could have been served, he chose to serve. When he could have worshiped, he chose to teach us how to worship. When he5:34 could have demanded to be loved, he chose to love instead. When he could have demanded that others washed his feet, he instead chose to wash their feet. What an incredible thought. So as we5:46 journey through this whole series over the next couple of weeks all the way through the end of February, we're gonna see 2 major themes in Philippians. Number 1 is about your mindset.5:59 Saw it there. Have the same mind that was in Christ. Whatever you think about will control your life. Whatever your thoughts are about, they will control your6:11 life. He says it over and over again. We're gonna see it again today a couple of times. But the second thing is Paul says you can have joy regardless of6:23 your circumstances, but it requires a true humility. So why do we need true humility as believers and as a church? Well number 1, true6:34 humility is what ultimately leads to a true harmony. You might as well write that down. True humility leads to true harmony. Not false humility, not fake6:46 humility, not feigned humility. True and genuine humility ultimately in your relationships, in our church, in our life, that will ultimately lead to a true unity and true harmony. Look at it6:58 in Philippians chapter 2 verse 1. Let's just start reading it and, just ponder it for a second. He says, therefore, if you have any encouragement, that means to come alongside, from being7:10 united with Christ, If there's any comfort from his love, if there's any common sharing in the spirit, if there's any tenderness and compassion, look at verse 2. He says then make my joy complete.7:22 Now Paul is writing to the church in Philippi and he says here's how you can make his joy complete. He gives us 4 thoughts. Number 1, he says by being like minded. In other words, let's have the same mind7:35 that Christ had. Let's have the same understanding as a church, what has God called us as a church to do. So thought number 1 is we want to be like minded. We want to have the same passion, the same heartbeat7:46 to do anything and everything that God wants us to do. Then he gives us the second thing, he goes having the same love. So we want to have the same attitude or the same mindset. We want to have the same love. We want to7:57 have the same spirit, being 1 in spirit. And then finally he says, and 1 in mind. Notice, mind starts it, mind finishes. It. What we think about, what we ponder when we8:09 walk on God's church, walk into God's church or on God's campus, what you think about in your marriage or in your friendships or in your relationship, he says that's gonna drive you. And ultimately what you think about8:22 and the love you show and the love you receive and the joy you show give and the joy you receive, that's gonna determine how complete you feel in your relationships and in8:33 life. Now, notice what he says, the same mindset. We all need to be reminded what is the most important thing for a8:45 team to win. We are in kind of championship season, you're gonna be a couple of games, couple of good games yesterday, I know it's NFL season. But what is the most important thing for a team?8:58 Is for them to have a shared goal and a shared purpose. To understand when we step on the field today, I want to win. Eventually I want to9:09 win a championship. I was gonna put a picture of the Cowboys up there, but no 1 would remember that. Alright? But here's the key. Here's, how many of you know that as the9:21 team step on the field, the point for every player is not personal accomplishments or personal accolades.9:34 The point for a good team is they would all work together, do their part, so the team gets the glory and the team gets the win. Now we also all can think9:45 about those times and those seasons, we've already experienced it, don't know who your favorite, favorite teams are. That man, there has been some amazing player on the field that all of a sudden they're not throwing the9:55 ball to him or they're not handing him the ball, and he walks over the sideline, throws his helmet down, right? And you immediately say, dude it's about the team, right? It's about winning the game. And so that's exactly10:07 what we see here. How do we make sure that we're not that person that cares about personal accolades or our personal accomplishments, it's we all have a shared goal and a shared purpose. So let me just restate it10:19 now, what is the goal of the church? It is the great commission that we would go and make disciples,10:32 baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. That is the entire purpose of the church, is that we would play together, we would do our parts,10:43 we would run the play so that the team, the church, the kingdom of God would ultimately win. Notice what Paul says to the Ephesian believers, and I love this. He says make every10:55 effort. This isn't easy, folks. When we talk about humility, it's not easy. Man, those teams that step on the field today, guess what? There are gonna be some that they're gonna get the ball all11:07 the time. There are gonna be other guys they call linemen. They do all the grunt work, right? No 1 talks about them unless there's a holding penalty or they do something11:19 wrong or they jump offside. But let me tell you what, that team will not win without those guys doing their part. And so you and I need to understand that Paul says we need to make every effort to do what? To keep the11:31 unity of the spirit through the bond of peace. It's hard to be humble. It's hard to let other someone else get all the accolades. It's hard to simply11:43 not be thought of or or not be talked about at all unless something goes wrong. Look at what he says in Romans chapter 5 verse 5, 15 verse 5. He says, may the God who gives endurance and encouragement11:55 give you the same attitude of mind. Notice there it is again. Paul in every 1 of his books talks about attitude, and he talks about a mindset. He always talks about an attitude that you and I need to have and a12:07 mindset that we want to have. Why? Because that's where God is glorified. Toward each other, have the same attitude in mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had so that with 1 mind and 112:19 voice you may glorify the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ. So if we're truly going to have unity and harmony as a church, it starts with humility.12:31 That I'm going to start thinking more and more like Christ and less and less like me. Here's thought number 2, we're going to read it here in a second. True humility12:43 puts others first. True humility will always put someone else in front of you. Somebody else's needs, someone else's wants in front of yours.12:55 Man, you want to see a marriage that works great together? Boy, put 2 people together that care more about the other's wants and needs than they care about themselves. And you'll see a marriage that is an amazing13:05 example. So where do we see this? Pick it up in verse 3, notice what it says. He says, do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. In other words, rather in humility of mind, humility13:17 value others above yourselves. In other words, I'm gonna look at your needs and my needs and I'm gonna put your needs above my needs. Your wants above my wants. And so he says I'm gonna value you and that only can be13:29 done if I have true humility. Look at verse 4. Not looking to your own interests, but each of you looking to the interests of someone else. Now let me tell you what, this13:40 isn't easy. It's not hard to be prideful. It's hard to be humble. It's not hard13:53 to be selfish. It's hard to be unselfish. Does that make sense? How many of you have kids? Anybody have to train your kid to be prideful and selfish?14:06 No. You have to talk to them. Well now let's share. That's your sister, that's your brother, that's your friend. Right? That I know that's your toy, but go ahead and share. Right? You you don't have to14:18 train your kids to be selfish. Folks, we don't have to train ourselves to be selfish, even when we come to church. We have to train ourselves, we have to set our minds to the idea that someone14:30 else's needs and wants and desires are more important than mine. And that's when you're truly going to have the joy that you so desperately desire, is when you stop thinking about14:42 me, me, me and start thinking about them, them, them. Because then you'll see other people's faces light up. Other smiles happen. God moving into somebody else's life and you can celebrate and you can14:54 say I played a part in that. I love what Romans chapter 12 verse 10 says, look at what Paul says. He says listen, whatever you do, be devoted to 115:05 another in love and honor 1 another above yourself. So not only do I want to be humble and serve others and their needs above my needs, but I also want to do what? Be devoted to15:17 1 another and honor 1 another above yourselves. That's where true joy comes from. You've heard me say from this stage, and if you don't remember it, a great acrostic for joy is this. Might want to15:29 write this down, J O Y. Jesus first, others second, you last. Alright, you truly want joy, then live a life15:42 that you say God I want to honor you. Jesus I want to be like you. I want to have your mindset. I want to humble myself before. If you honor Jesus first, then you look around and say others second, that was what Jesus15:53 did. Remember it says Jesus did not come to be served, but to what? To serve. So it's Jesus, others, and you. If you16:05 think about yourself last, you will be more joyful than you ever thought you could be. Now if you flip that over, that spells Yaj. That's not a word. And it's a16:17 long way from joy. And so so a lot of times we flip that over. We we think about my needs and my wants and man, is someone saying something to me? Is someone encouraging16:29 me? Is someone doing this for me? And I will promise you, if you live in a me me me world, you will have no joy. That's what Paul is saying. I love what Matthew chapter 23 says. Pick it up, here's what it16:41 says. Jesus is talking, he says the greatest among you will be your servant, for those who exalt themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves will16:53 be exalted. Here's what here's what Jesus is saying, listen. You spend your life pouring your life, your energy, your resources, and your talents and gifts out for somebody else, you17:04 can trust the God of this universe will take your humility and turn it into his exaltation. He's gonna use what you have and use what you give in a powerful and a real way. So17:16 thought number 1 as we just walk through Philippians chapter 2, is number 1, that if we want to see true harmony in our relationships, in our church, it starts with true humility. Secondly,17:29 true humility always puts somebody else first. And here's number 3, we'll pick it up in verse 5. True humility reflects the mindset of Christ. It it it reflects the mindset of17:41 Christ, who although he existed, we're gonna read this here in a second, as God. He didn't stay there. He chose to humble himself. Not not as a king on the earth, but as a17:52 baby born in Bethlehem who was delivered in the hands of sinful men to die for sins he didn't commit. What an incredible thought. So let's read it, pick it up in verse 5, and18:04 and let me just stop, if you don't know this, if you have your notes out, write this down. As you look through God's word, there are a lot of verses in the New Testament that talk about Jesus. There'll be a verse here18:15 that he says, I am the father 1. There'll be a verse here that says, I am God and others say that he was God. But there are 4 major Christological passages. Those are passages that are condensed18:27 with things that tell us a lot about Jesus. Philippians 2 is 1 of them. John 1 is 1 of them. Remember, in the beginning was the word, the word was with God, and the word was God, and the word became flesh and dwelt among18:39 him. That's John 1. So Philippians 2, John 1, Colossians 1 and 2. There's a lot in there. We're gonna read a little bit of Colossians chapter 2 here in a second. And then Hebrews chapter 1. In Hebrews chapter 1,18:51 we're told that he is the exact radiance of God's glory, Jesus. He is exact representation of God. And he was higher than the angels. I'll explain a little bit of that here in a second. But those are19:03 4 major chrysological passages. Here's 1 of them. Philippians chapter 2, let's read what Paul reminds us and tells us about Jesus. He says this, verse 5. He says, in your relationships with 1 another19:15 have the same mindset, there it is again, as Christ Jesus. Who being in the very nature or being very nature, that is the Greek word morphe. You ever heard the word19:26 morphology? That's the study of nature or forms or who we are. Man, it is a form. He says being in the very form God, he was God, did not consider equality with God,19:38 that's in heaven, as something to be used to his own advantage. So what is he saying? That when Jesus chose to leave Heaven, he chose to leave some of those19:50 advantages of living in Heaven behind. Now, what he did not leave was his godliness or his deity. He just chose not to use everything20:02 he had as his own advantage here on this earth. So notice what it says, didn't use it to his own advantage. Verse 7, but rather he made himself nothing by taking on the very nature of a servant.20:14 So he was the form of God who gave up some of the advantages of being in heaven and took on the form of man. So now you have the idea that Jesus is fully God and fully man. What did John20:26 1 say? In the beginning was the word, the word was with God, the word was God. Then the word became flesh. God became flesh and Jesus and dwelt among us, alright? So that's when you20:38 hear me say over and over and over and over again that Jesus was fully God and fully man. That's what it says in John 1, it says it in Philippians 2, it says it in Colossians 1 and 2, it says it in Hebrews 1.20:50 Journey through, let's continue to read. Rather, he made himself nothing, he gave up some of the advantages in heaven, by taking on the nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. Alright? He was21:02 born. So in that moment, that birth in Bethlehem, you had the eternal Jesus who was there at the beginning, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. This eternal God, fully God,21:14 added humanity to deity. So So let's read on. By taking on the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness, look at verse 8, and being found in appearance as a man,21:26 he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on the cross. Now, there have been some who said well, so when Jesus became a man, he he21:38 was no longer God. That's not what the Bible says. Go read John 1, go read Hebrews 1, go read Colossians 1 and 2, go read Philippians chapter 2. It says he didn't give up21:49 his deity, he added humanity to his deity, and that is very important for us to understand. Now remember when Jesus walked around on this earth, he proved he was still God.22:02 He just submitted and humbled Himself. In His humanity, He hungered, He thirsted, He wept, He bled, He died. He got exhausted22:14 in his humanity. That's humbling himself. But in his deity, he calmed the storms, he walked on the water, he fed the 5000. So what do you see? In Jesus, he has both of22:26 them still present and both of them still there, alright? He just chose to give up some of the things in Heaven. Go over to Colossians chapter 2, so he's fully God, fully man. Let me show it to22:38 you there. Says for in Christ, verse 9, all the fullness of deity lives in bodily form and in Christ you have22:50 been brought to his fullness. Notice the word fullness twice. You say, kind of a unique word to put in there. Well if you go over to the Colossian church, it was a little different than the Philippian church. The23:01 Colossian church, you had a bunch of Greeks who were also in love with Greek philosophy. They were called gnostics, alright? Gnosis in Greek means special knowledge. In other words, these23:13 these Greeks thought, man, Christianity's good. We understand Jesus was powerful. He died on the cross for us, but they would debate, alright well clearly Jesus was special,23:26 but how special was he? Clearly he had a divine spark, but was it a significant spark or a little spark? And so notice Paul uses the word fullness twice. He23:37 says all the fullness of deity dwell in him in bodily form. The best way I can illustrate it is with an image. Put an image up there of the sun and the sun rays going23:49 to earth. Okay? The sun clearly is the sun. Now you go just outside the sun where you start having these rays coming from the sun to the earth. It is hot, we can't live there ever, but24:01 the closer and closer it gets to earth, things begin to cool, right? We begin to survive if it hits us. If we're right up against the sun, boom, you're dead. But the further you get24:13 away from the sun, the less sun ish the sunlight is. Just enough where when God created the earth, he says I'm a put the sun here and I'm a put the earth right here. Alright, so what you had is you had these Gnostics,24:26 who kind of saw Jesus and God as the sun and the earth and the rays. Is the sun represents God, alright? They believed in the sun24:37 rays represented levels of divinity. And what they debated is, well you know, Jesus had had flesh, so he couldn't have been God. But he was24:49 powerful, he presented miracles, he came back from the dead, so alright, he's closer to God than we are. They would say, well he's got that divine spark. And so what happened is the Gnostics used to25:01 debate, where is Jesus on this scale? Is Jesus 10 percent God and 90 percent flesh? Is he 50 percent God, 50 percent flesh? And25:13 they debated. And they put him in, by the way, they put all kinds of things on their divinity scale. They put angels on the divinity scale. Why? Because remember, in their dualistic mindset, they thought spirit was25:25 good and matter was evil. And they would ask the question, well if we believe that this eternal logos, remember in John chapter 1, in the beginning was the word, that's the word logos. In beginning was the word, the word25:36 was God, the word was with God. They believed in this divine eternal God who was all spirit. Just like you and I do. But they believed that man, how could ask the same question you and I25:48 ask. How could this powerful, all powerful good God who is spirit create an earth that has evil on it? Same question you and I ask, right?26:00 And their response to that was, well, that God didn't actually create the earth. He created beings that were less and less God and more and more physical26:12 along the way, to where the last God, somewhere down the line, was powerful enough to create a world, but not good enough to create a perfect world. Does that make sense? And so they've sit there26:24 and they debated, where is Jesus on this Jesus scale? Where is Jesus on this God scale? They would say, well the angels are clearly further up the scale than we are. Why? Because angels26:36 don't have a body, they believed in angels. That's why if you go look at Hebrews chapter 1, the writer of the book of Hebrews says he is higher than the angels. Why? Dealing with this mindset. They would put some of the26:47 Greek philosophers, they would say Socrates. Boy, he was he was clearly more divine than we are, but he still had a body so he really wasn't God. And so what Paul does, put that image back up there. If you look at that26:59 image, Paul says take the whole fullness, all of the race, that's all of the godhead. Paul says for in27:10 him all the fullness of deity dwelt in bodily form, and let me just tell you, they just went. They went, wait. You're telling27:22 me in this Jesus that he is 100 percent God and 100 percent man, and Paul used their word fullness, pleroma. He says in27:34 this 1 man, he is fully God and he is fully man. What an incredible thought. And just blew them away. Now notice this same God and this blew them27:46 away even more. Look at Matthew chapter 20 verse 28. This fully God and fully man Jesus, he tells us his purpose. Look at this humility, Matthew chapter 20 verse 28. Jesus27:58 says the son of man, talking about himself, did not come to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many. That blew him away.28:10 That this individual named Jesus, who was fully God, fully man, who could have absolutely demanded people serve him and worship him and honor him instead served others28:22 and gave his life as a ransom for many. What an incredible thought. Remember in John chapter 13 when Jesus was up in the upper room right before he was about to be28:34 betrayed by Judas and delivered into the hands of sinful men? Jesus there, he's surrounded by his disciples, none of them were perfect. There's a bunch of, bunch of guys in the room that man, you know, we identify with28:45 because yeah, very imperfect people. Remember what Jesus did in that moment? Says he knelt down and he began to wash the disciples' feet.28:58 If you go look at it in John chapter 13 when it talks about that, after he washed their feet, he said, I leave you this as an example for you to follow. You29:09 say, pastor are you saying that we should go around washing people's feet? That was a different culture. If you were just to stroll up to someone at church someday when they walked in the door and you got on your29:21 knees, you didn't pull their shoes off, they would think you were weird. And so would I. But what Jesus was demonstrating is29:33 this, if I, as fully God and fully man, can kneel down and serve someone ever, someone else who should be serving29:45 me, wash someone else's feet who should be washing my feet, can't we do it all the more? So true humility, it is29:57 the key to harmony. True humility puts others first. True humility comes from having a mindset of Christ who although he existed in the very form of God,30:08 did not use that to his advantage. But as fully God and fully man, he loved you, served you, and cared for you. And number 4, you say golly Pastor, this sounds like30:20 I'm going nowhere but down. Can you imagine just having a seminar on hey, how to go down as far as you can?30:32 Or as we're gonna see, a seminar on becoming nothing. It doesn't sell real well. We want to go up. We don't want to go down. God knows that. That's why the fourth point is true30:44 humility is what leads to your ultimate elevation. See when we begin to have the mindset and the heart and the attitude and the life of Christ, God takes30:56 note and he will exalt you. You say how do you know that? That's exactly what he did with Jesus. Pick it up and let's start reading it. Philippians chapter 2, going to verse 9. Therefore, after Jesus went down, down,31:07 down, humble, humble, humble, serve, serve, serve, love, love, give, give, give, betrayed, die. Then it says, therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is31:19 above every name. Now listen to this, that if the name of Jesus, everybody say Jesus. Jesus. Let's do that again, say Jesus. Jesus. If you're online type that in. That if the name of Jesus, every knee,31:31 not most of them, every knee would bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the father. You're either gonna do it now,31:43 or you're gonna do it in eternity. But you're gonna know and acknowledge who Jesus is someday, someway, and you're gonna bow the knee. So here's how I wanna close with this amazing message is this. Philippians 2 is an31:54 amazing passage, But if you don't answer these 5 questions right, you're going to miss a whole lot. Number 1,32:06 have you bowed the knee to Jesus Christ? Has there come a time where you've gotten on your knees before God, said thank you for32:18 sending your son to die on the cross for my sins, allowing him to die and be buried and rise again? Have you bowed the knee? Number 2,32:30 have you accepted Jesus as savior lord? After you bow the knee, have you said God I'm not worthy of forgiveness, not worthy32:41 of salvation, I'm not worthy of grace. Have you ever come to a place where you've accepted Jesus Christ as savior and lord? Here's number 3. Have you made it a pattern in your life32:53 of consistently exalting Jesus above self? Consistently saying it's about him, it's not about me. Number33:05 4, if you bowed the knee, if you trusted Christ, if you consistently make it about Jesus, not about yourself. Number 4, do others know it? Have you been open and honest33:17 about the fact that you are a follower of Jesus Christ? He was perfect, I am not, but in every way I can I'm gonna possibly be, every way I can possibly be, I'm gonna serve and love and33:29 give my life as a ransom for many just like Jesus. And then number 5, when it comes to your mindset and your attitude, are you humble like Jesus?33:41 Are you humble? He could have demanded anything and everything. Remember at Easter we sing that song years ago, that old hymn. He could have called 10000 angels. How many of you remember that?33:54 He could have done it, but he chose not to for you and for me. Church, let's demonstrate true humility. We'll34:05 have more unity, more joy, more harmony, and more fun as a church. Why? Because we're all putting each other first. It's never about me, it's about y'all, and guess what? If I put y'all first and y'all put me34:17 first, we're all going to be happy. Do we understand that? That's God's way. Let's pray. God, thank you so much. God, thank you for for your son who34:29 showed us the way, pointed the way, demonstrated the way, and went the way. God, thank you for the humility that Jesus represents. God also thank you for34:40 exalting him. That at the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue will confess. God I pray that if there's someone in this room today or someone online that has never bowed the knee and accepted34:52 Jesus as savior and lord that this would be the day that they would do just that. God, let us as a church live in true harmony and unity as we do now. Let us enjoy the fact that35:04 we get the privilege of being like Christ to serve others. In Jesus' name we pray, amen and amen.In this video 0:00 The Path to Unbreakable Joy101K followers
