- 1Everything You Need for ActionThat is an amazing promise, and it runs throughout the New Testament. “My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:19 AV). “I can do everything through [Christ] who gives me strength” (Phil. 4:13). Christ says to us, “My grace is sufficient for you, my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

It takes a great effort, but it’s ultimately futile; it will never fly! Jesus said “Apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
