Alpha/Omega - Revelation: The Day of the Lord

As Revelation chapter 8 opens we hear about silence in heaven for about a half an hour because God's wrath is finally going to be unleashed on planet earth. This sobering text shows us the severity of our sin and the truth that God's holiness that cannot tolerate it. In the book of Genesis, we saw God destroy the world

with a flood and in the book of Revelation we see a how God will ultimately purify the world from sin so that He may establish His reign.
