Alpha/Omega - Revelation: The First Two Woes

Revelation 9 contains sobering words about the severity of the first two woes. While the first four trumpet judgements focused on the ecology of the earth, the next three trumpets focus specifically on unrepentant people (the fifth, sixth and seventh trumpet are referred to as the three woes). As the fifth and sixth

trumpets are blown we learn of God using a demonic hoard to punish unrepentant people on the earth. This unrelenting punishment during the Day of the Lord is difficult to read and even more challenging to engage since many of us picture the people we know who are presently lost and apart from Christ.
