Honoring God and the Power of Miracles 0:02 We wanna honor God because he sees everything.0:10 You were born with a plan and a purpose. He's the god of all things possible. He's the god of all0:22 miracles.0:52 Welcome to Grace Grace with Naina Michelle. I'm Michelle Humphreys.0:56 And I am Naina Keegan. Welcome to our broadcast today. Today, you're gonna wanna stay tuned. You're gonna wanna call your friends. We have an amazing and very special guest. Michelle, you wanna do the honors?1:06 Yes. Today, we are delighted to be joined by pastor Frankie Mazepika, the founding and lead pastor of Celebration Church of The Woodlands, Texas. Pastor Frankie and his wife, Allie,1:18 held the first church service in two thousand five with three people, and now I know for a fact they have at least three or four services. So despise not the day of small beginnings. He's1:30 amazing. He has written at least two books, Your Divine Invitation and Ignite Your Life, and he is where you wanna go if you need a miracle. I'm telling you to go to his church because I've1:41 been, and I actually got my miracle when I went. So I've been to Welcome to the broadcast.1:49 I am really happy to be here. When we put this on the calendar, I started looking forward to it straight away. So, yeah, thank you for inviting me. I'm excited.1:59 Well, thanks for being here. We... First of all, we have both attended your church, and and, in fact, I was there last weekend. And, your sermons, I mean, I know he's all over online, Trinity2:11 broadcast, you're gonna have to tell everybody where they can find you, but they are so power packed, full of the Holy Spirit, and he just gets these points across in such a2:23 different way than I've seen a pastor do before. So so where do you get all this? How do you come up with your sermons and, like, just the way you bring them? There's a lot of times there's there's, like,2:35 there's props and things that you bring out, and it just really hammers it home. So tell us about that.2:43 Well, I tell you, first of all, thank you for the encouragement. That's really kind of you. It's so interesting because, on Saturday night, of course, I start working on my sermon2:54 on Monday. I always say on Sunday, you birth a baby, and then you wake up on Monday, and you're you're pregnant again. But, you know, I work on it all week, but it's so fascinating3:06 because, on Saturday night when I'm looking at my notes or thinking about my notes, even on Sunday morning, a couple hours before service, I look at my notes. I just think to myself,3:18 oh my gosh, this looks like rubbish. This looks like complete trash. And, I I tell the Lord, I'm like, God, you you saw me praying this week. You saw how hard I've3:30 worked this week. You know, if I were to go back in time, I couldn't work any harder, but this looks like rubbish to me. I need you to anoint this.3:42 And so I appreciate the encouragement. Usually speaking, by the... When I actually start preaching, I feel like I should do everybody a favor and3:54 just tell everybody to go home.3:56 I am so sure.3:58 The the first few minutes is always kinda like, trying to catch my sea legs, so to speak. And then I'm gonna sound super Pentecostal now, but I was raised Pentecostal, but a4:09 Pentecostal term, for this particular moment, that I experience, you know, I call it catching a vein, where all of a sudden I just feel like the Holy Spirit just starts4:21 to rest on it and breathe life into it. And so, you know, I'm eternally grateful for those moments when I walk off the stage and I think, God, you4:33 really did do something special today. And, you know, I gotta tell you, the peak moments for me is at the end of the service when I just feel compelled to4:45 go for healing. We've seen so many healings at our church, and it's so fascinating, because in twenty eighteen, I was just crying out to God, man,4:57 something has to change. I just don't wanna have four worship songs, an offering message, and then preach a... I'm sorry, an offering message, and then preach a message, send everybody home. God,5:09 you're too powerful for that. And, ironically enough, not a lot of people outside of our church know this, but I was interviewing, somebody who leads a5:21 sex trafficking ministry on our platform one particular Sunday, and my whole intention on bringing her was to introduce her to the church and raise a whole bunch of5:33 money to support her ministry, but she looked at me and she said, hey, thank you. These were the first words out of her mouth. She said, thank you so much for inviting me, and then5:44 her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she fell and went to full cardiac arrest. I mean, her her brain wasn't functioning. She couldn't breathe. Her heart5:56 stopped. An emergency vehicle came. We dismissed everybody out of the church, and I remember thinking, I can't believe this is happening after months of prayer,6:09 intense prayer, that God would do something special, and then also when someone dies in our church. The paramedics came, they they did all the shocking to try6:21 to get her to come back. She didn't come back for about five minutes, and then all of a sudden, her heart starts beating again. She still didn't have brain activity. She still wasn't breathing.6:33 They got her to the hospital. She was still alive, but she had a one percent chance of being alive. The next day I walked in there to see her, and she was eating chocolate pudding, and she looked at me and she6:44 said, I'm really sorry I messed up6:46 your service too.6:48 And I was like, are you kidding me right now? Like, this is so insane. And ever since then, we've experienced miracle after miracle after miracle.7:00 I mean, deaf ears opened, cancer. I even got, somebody was holding their iPhone up and recorded a person who was completely blind, got7:12 their eyesight right, recorded on their cell phone. And so now when I go for healing on Sunday, I'm more surprised when they don't get healed than than when they do get healed.7:24 So, yeah, that that's... Those are my peak moments in a service.7:28 And how big is God? Right? Because, like, you know, that's... He's God. And Yeah. Is there anything that he can't do? If we just think about the whole body of believers at your church all7:40 praying and...7:41 It's like for forty five minutes, she was out. Right? I mean... Well, she was,7:45 no, she... Her heart wasn't beating. She had no brain activity for five minutes.7:50 For five minutes. Okay.7:52 You know, you can't experience something like that. There's, like, a one percent chance of living, but even if you do live, the residual effects are nearly guaranteed.8:04 I mean, either physically, you can see it on their face, or their brain just doesn't work properly, but, you know, there's always residual effects. And, the only residual effect that8:15 happened was miracles taking place in our church and and her ministry. I wanna plug it because it's so amazing. It's called Elijah Rising.8:25 Yeah. We've been we've been to She's amazing.8:29 Yeah. My kids are not going to be place. Yeah. Yeah. Now that she's she's selling the furniture in the warehouse, I noticed. And she's a she's a young lady. You you would never think something like that could happen8:41 to her, you know, standing there.8:44 Yeah. I mean, she was thirty one years old at the time, and I I tell you, it's so wild because, she's she's perfectly8:56 healthy. I mean, there's nothing there's nothing about her that should have led to9:01 An attack.9:02 A full cardiac arrest.9:04 Mhmm.9:04 And so it just absolutely made no sense at all. But I often tell her, I just say, hey, Micah, Miracles broke out at our church after that, so thank you for taking one for the team. I reallyPersistence in Prayer and God's Many Ways 9:15 appreciate it. Man,9:16 well, we're gonna take a quick break, pastor Frankie. And we are talking about10:34 miracles. And, wow, what a powerful story, that you just told us. And so, you know, think about God. Think about he's no respecters of persons, and so what he can do for10:46 one, he can do for anyone. And so what do you attribute to that? Like, do you think that... Because a lot of people will say, I prayed so much and I didn't... Nothing happened. Or,10:58 you know, what what do you think is the difference? If you could pinpoint that.11:04 Well, I believe that every single time we pray, something happens.11:08 Amen.11:09 Every time we pray. You you you never pray, and not even if it's just one sentence, like, I heard a, a quote from an early church father,11:21 Smith Wigglesworth11:22 Oh, about him.11:23 Is his name, but he said, I I rarely pray for thirty minutes, but thirty minutes doesn't go by without me praying. Yeah.11:32 That's good.11:33 That's good. And so if you read about him, the the number of miracles and the things that took place in his life, you can hardly count them. And and they're so wild and11:44 unbelievable, except God does unbelievable things. And and what's the the trait in his life is that he was just constantly praying. And so I would say to the11:56 person that backs up and says, you know, nothing's happening when I pray, I kinda push back a little bit on that and just say, you know, in Psalms fifty six nine, it says, every12:08 time you pray, the tide of the battle turns.12:11 Amen.12:11 And so there there has to be this, I wanna use the word, persistence or aggression in praying. In Psalms five three, it says,12:24 every day I wake up, I'll be back at it again laying the pieces of my life on your altar waiting for the fire to fall. Amen. And so, you know, we all know12:35 this, but it it helps to say it again. God is not our servant. He doesn't do what we ask him to do, but what he does do is12:48 act miraculously. He he does phenomenal things.12:51 Mhmm.12:53 In Psalms one thirty verse seven, it says, keep hoping, keep waiting, keep trusting in our God who is faithful, kind, and forgiving. And13:05 then here's the powerful one. He has a thousand ways to set us free. So when we come before God, we're like, do this, please, please God, do this. Usually13:17 we have one idea or we have one solution that we can think of that we want God to do. But when he delivers us, and and when he, takes13:29 us out of that tough season, and we look back, it's rarely the route that we were proposing. Exactly. It was a different route. But one thing's for sure is you can look back and you can13:40 see miracle after miracle after miracle. But these types of miracles don't happen to people who get weary. Charles Finney, he13:52 said this one time, he said, most people faint before they get their breakthrough. Yeah. That's true.... Tell somebody, pray twenty minutes a day and then come back and tell me if your pray... If your14:04 prayers don't get answered. Say, I'm gonna pray twenty minutes a day for six months, and and then give me a call.14:12 Amen.14:13 You know, people who mock God or get disappointed with God or aren't passionate about God, have to ask themselves first, how often am I praying? And so, you know, I don't14:25 wanna judge anyone, but I do think that it's fair to say, okay, what what, how how strong has my pursuit been before I go off and14:37 say that God's not answering prayers?14:39 Yeah. Amen. Think about Jesus. Like, even he was, you know, earnestly praying to his father. And, and and just think about who has the ability. It's not just you're14:51 saying some... It's, you know, like, it shouldn't... The power shouldn't be in your prayers. It's in the one who has the ability to answer them and who hears your prayers. And Right. And really to to come boldly to his15:02 throne, you know, with praise, with thanksgiving, and just to be in awe, reverential fear and awe of who he is.15:11 And... And I think, pastor Frankie, you said it when you said you almost have to be aggressive when you pray, like the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. And I'll I'll just give you a quick15:22 testimony. I had, I... We have a a church that we've gone to forever and a day and have a pastor, but but I've been to some of your special services. And I have been having15:34 these strange arm pains and I... For months. And I was telling my husband, it just feels like... Almost like my my arms are getting a spanking or something like it hurts15:46 so much. And and and one Sunday morning, we were driving past your church, and I said, can we please pass? Can we please get in, the parking lot here, just pull in, and we will,15:58 let's just go to celebration today. I need a miracle. And so we waited till the end, and I went down to the altar. Lady was praying for me. And when I came back... And I didn't feel anything. You know? But,16:10 when I when I came back, my husband goes, did you hear what pastor Frankie said? I said, no. Because I was listening to the lady that was praying for me. And and he's he said, well, he described your arm pain exactly.16:24 And I have never felt that pain again. And, I mean, it... It's just like... I know it's like, you know, it's just a a place of miracles. It really is. And and so if16:36 even if somebody is just watching you on TV, I believe that they can get a miracle just like you said with the with the, cell phone that someone received their sight. That's amazing.16:46 Yeah. Yeah....16:47 A miracle.16:48 Yeah. That was a pretty powerful moment because I didn't know they were filming, the moment. I was just locked in on the person I was praying with and and trying my best17:00 to be locked in with, the presence of God. I didn't know they were recording it and I saw it and I was like, oh my goodness, this is17:07 wild. But,17:09 yeah, you know, I I've talked to a lot of people and thank you for sharing that testimony. That really encourages me a lot. But I've talked to people before that are just in the sanctuary. Nobody's even praying for17:21 them, and all of a sudden they get healed. And, you know, it's a it's a special thing, but what I wanna say to everybody is there... These healings that are17:33 taking place, yes, there's definitely a favor on our church for healings, but, when you're walking with Him and you're talking with Him, the faith increases for things17:45 that few people ever see. And the reason why few people see it is because there's just a few people that are in hot pursuit. And so, you know, I think what17:57 the three of us are saying is, hey, God honors and celebrates hot pursuit.18:03 Amen.18:03 To your point, effectual fervent prayers.18:07 Yes. It has much power. Pastor Frankie, we are gonna take a quick break. We'll be right there. Stay right there. You are watching Grace Grace with Naina and Michelle. We will be right back.Positioning for Power Through Your Divine Invitation 18:17 Have you ever wondered if someone was monitoring you like nefarious tech companies, corrupt federal agencies, or hostile foreign countries? So pastor Frankie, you have several books, but your latest one, do you wanna talk about19:07 that? We have...19:08 Yes. I'm sorry. Go ahead.19:10 Your divine invitation.19:12 Yes. And So Your Divine Invitation, I tell you where, I birthed that book, after Micah Gamboa died and came back to life and miracles started taking place.19:26 In, I I I tell you, I I always ask God, you know, I really wish there was some type of pathway that somebody would explain to19:37 me on how can I get these miracles to start flowing through me? And, it's it's promised to us in Mark sixteen seventeen. It talks about19:49 these signs shall follow those who believe, and I always wish, man, I just wish somebody would kinda give me, like, the stones in in the in the river that I could just walk across on.20:01 And so, when God began to open up these doors, I thought, I'm gonna write the book I wish I could have read, in those days.20:09 Oh, I love that.20:10 And and what what the scripture says in Luke twenty four forty nine, it says go to Jerusalem and wait until you are endowed with power. And and20:22 what it's saying is, hey, before you go out and preach, before you go start a small group, before you start a church in your home talking to the disciples, you need to be endowed with power. And20:34 I think sometimes we get so excited, and this is a good thing, we get so excited to do something for God, we just run out there and do it. Yeah. But we end up using20:46 our charisma, our personal strengths and attributes, but we don't necessarily see the power of God moving. Paul said this in second Thessalonians, one20:58 eleven, he goes, I pray you would have the power to accomplish the things that your faith is compelling you to do. In other words, you feel faith pulling you to21:10 pray for a person for healing or or whatever the the, miracle you need to see. You feel the faith pulling you, but nothing's happening. And he's saying, I want you to have21:22 the power to accomplish what your faith is compelling you to do. And so in this book, I talk about positioning yourself to receive21:34 that power so that you don't find yourself being frustrated of realizing, man, I'm just doing everything with my own strength. This stinks. I wanna see God do things.21:45 Yeah.21:45 And God wants to do things in our lives more than we want God to do things in our lives. The local church is the hope of the world. If there's no local church, there's... We're not operating in God's21:57 plan.21:58 Amen.21:58 So that's why I wrote the book, Your Divine Invitation. I've got two books on on Amazon. It's Ignite Your Life, fourteen things that happen when you pray. I think22:10 when we know what's happening when we pray, we're more energetic about praying. And then Your Divine Invitation is the book I just discussed to get this this power that22:22 God promised us flowing through our life, and so I really believe both books will be an encouragement to you depending... You may wanna get both, but the the blue one, the...22:33 It's got22:34 a blue cover.22:36 That's the one that talks about an endowment of power.22:39 I love that. So what do you think is the big takeaway in there? Like, why... What, like, if this is the book that you would have wanted to read, what would have been the standout? Like, what is... What do you22:51 think is the big key? Not to be the22:54 way that... I always believed that, gifts were like, like a quarterback throwing a football to certain players on the field.23:06 That God would look at us and say, hey, you're gonna have the power to heal. You're gonna have the gift of speaking in tongues. That you're gonna have you... And and that's not at all what the scripture says.23:18 You know, God is the quarterback, but he throws the ball to all of us. And so, I think that that was a big deal for me too here. But to pray for a person, say, I'm imparting the gift I23:30 have into you, that's not really the biblical model. And so the only way you know what gift you've received when somebody prays for you to receive a gift,23:42 or like Solomon, he received it directly from God in a dream, the only way you know what gifts you've received is you have to try something. And I like to spell faith,23:54 r I s k. It's a risk. You gotta start risking and trying things, and all of a sudden you back up and you go, oh my goodness, I didn't know God gave24:02 you that gift.24:03 And and you just keep on taking a risk over and over again. And so I talk a lot about that in the book. That'd probably be the... One of one of the many takeaways.24:13 I love that.24:14 Pastor Frankie, we are almost out of time. This has been so delightful, and we appreciate you so much. So would you mind praying for our audience? Especially those who need miracles.24:27 Absolutely. First of all, I just want to speak into your body. I I love the way Jesus prayed.Show more In this video 0:00 Honoring God and the Power of Miracles9:12 Persistence in Prayer and God's Many Ways18:15 Positioning for Power Through Your Divine Invitation24:33 Activating Gifts by Risk and Final Prayer
