Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear God, I find myself continually thinking about the future and wondering what will happen. I try to control people and situations to produce specific outcomes. This desire for control distracts me from engaging in the simple pleasures of present moments with myself, family, and friends. Allow my mind to be still and stay focused on the present moment. Remind me that You have a pure and purposeful agenda set for my life. Allow me to trust in what You have set before me so that I can be fully present in the moment. Amen.
