Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, tonight I take comfort and trust that You are a God of healing. There have been many events in my life that were out of my control. Traumas, disappointments, and afflictions have sought to rob me of joy and chain me to the ground. But I rejoice tonight that You are the breaker of chains. You offer healing and restoration for all the wounds I walk with. Like withered grass scorched by the sun, my soul requires rain. Rain down on me, Lord Jesus. Shower me with grace, love, and truth. Heal me from the wounds of my Youth. Revive the parts of me that passed away because of shame. I want to walk in freedom. I pray these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.
