Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, thank you for your great and exceeding promises that I hold dear to my heart. Your word says that those who trust in you will be blest. When I put my hope in you I Will not be disappointed. It is your good pleasure to show yourself strong on behalf of your children when they trust in you. I desire to be obedient to your word and am dependent on you for my very life’s breath. It is your favour that I long for and I abide in your strong tower. You are with me always and I pray I will never lose the sense of your presence in my life. Knowing you are with me each moment of each day is my greatest comfort. I know I am never alone. As surely as a tree planted by the waters has deep roots to withstand the adversity of wind, and heat, and drought can still bear luscious fruit. So be it with me. Cause the tentacles of my faith to reach deep into the power of your word and strengthen me with the might of your spirit in my inner man that I might be rooted and grounded in your love. Secure my faith in you Lord, that I can withstand whatever comes against me. In Jesus name, amen.
