Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, You have set eternity in the hearts of all mankind. We are but a mist that appears for a little time and then disappears, yet You remain ever faithful. In this fleeting life, Youprovide us with moments of joy and sorrow, as well as laughter and sighing. We bear the burden of mortality with grace and understanding, for You have promised a hope that will never fade. May we look to You in this life, trusting in Your unfailing love and tender mercy. On the days we feel weak and faithless, remind us of Your good works and compassionate deeds. Help us to remember that even though our life is brief, it has worth and meaning, and that You have given us a purpose to fulfill.
