Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, I want to please you and not be ashamed when questioned about my faith. Open the mind of my understanding so I have an accurate understanding of your word. I hear people using your word to condemn and judge others. They seem to take scriptures out of context to make it fit their narrative. They often hold others accountable for what they are blind to in themselves. Teach me to handle your word rightly. Help me be a walking demonstration of your word and its power, not just a talking parrot without substance. Give me the discernment I need from your word to refute the lies and errors surrounding me. You are my truth, Lord. Amen.
