Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, there will soon come a day when each one of us will stand before you and give an account of all our actions. You know everything I do and think. You are watching over us and are aware of our conduct when no one else is around. That is why I don’t have to compete for man’s approval because even if they over look me you never will. It is a comfort for me to know that you see my heart and know my deeds and you will reward me for my efforts to honor you. You even know the thoughts I think that I would never say because they would expose the darkness of my heart. You take note of, not just what I do, but the motives of my heart that prompt my actions. You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek you and all those who show fidelity to your service. There is no greater honor than to be called to serve you and watch as you heal the sick and set the captives free from distress and disease. You use my hands and feet to flow your spirit through me but it is you doing it. That is enough honor for me. In Jesus name, amen.
