Evening Prayer on Philippians 4:6

Dear God, As we come before You today, and we confess that at times we allow worry and fear to consume us, and we ask for Your forgiveness and grace. Help us to trust in Your love and goodness, knowing that You will provide for all our needs according to your riches in Christ Jesus. May we turn to You in prayer and supplication, giving thanks for all that You have done and all that you will do in our lives. When anxiety mounts and seeks to steal away our peace in You, we pray that You would move swiftly to defend us.
