Today’s prayer
Written prayerThank you, Heavenly Father, that you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to be the pure light of the world. Once the light shines into darkness, it exposes the lies and deceptions. The light brings revelation and gives direction so I can see where I’m going. The light keeps me from stumbling blindly along the way. Unfortunately, the world did not recognize the creator or its true light. The world was blinded from the truth. As we light candles and sing Christmas carols, keep us mindful of how powerful and sacred the gift of light is, so we will always seek to keep its flame burning in our hearts. Let our lights shine this Christmas season. Amen.
