Today’s prayer
Written prayerMy faith grows by understanding the truth about who you are, Jesus. It is through hearing about your life, through your word, that makes me fall in love with you. You are the good news the Bible talks about. When I hear about how people treated you and how you responded in love I want to weep. When I hear about the price you paid for my sins I am humbled with gratitude. The stories of your compassion for the outcast, and your courage to address injustice give me hope today. The more I know you the more my faith soars and I want to follow you. I want to be like you. You are my hero. Amen.
