Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, your word says that faith comes by hearing by the word of God. If I am not willing to share your love and truth with others how will they hear? You don’t want anyone to perish so I must go and tell all those I meet of your wondrous ways. I am often afraid of conflict and don’t like to argue so I shut down when it comes to sharing my faith with others. Whenever I bring up the name of Jesus to non-believers they scoff and look at me like I am an idiot. Strengthen me Lord to stand against the lies of the enemy that wants to shut me down and prevent the truth from being heard. Help me remember that time is short and people need the truth to dismantle the lies they have been told. More importantly Lord, help me be a living reflection of your gospel so that others will not just hear the words but they will see them demonstrated through my life. That living example is the most powerful witness to the truth of your word. Give me courage Lord, to speak with holy boldness and love to all those I meet, in Jesus name, Amen.
