Dear God, help me to grow stronger in my relationship with You so that I can find rest in my heart and mind. Remind me to seek You before reacting to people or situations. I cannot find peace by looking for pleasure in people, events, or distractions. I know that I can find peace by living through Your Word. Your word can quiet any storm and give rest to my thoughts. Your Word can take away my pain and heal my heart. Thank You for Your generous gift of peace Amen.
