Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear God, thank You for baptizing me, not just with water, but with Your Spirit and fire. When I accepted Your Son, Jesus, You purified me from all unrighteousness and rescued me from darkness. Help me to look to Jesus as an example of how to live. I want you to be well pleased with me just as You are with Him. I pray that I remember that my baptism was just the beginning of my faith journey, not the end. Each day I have the opportunity to choose to live for You. Thank You for sending Jesus to save me and listening to my prayer. You are a Good Father who has given me all I need for life and godliness.
