Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, teach me the wisdom of your ways and give me understanding. Your word is the truth that leads me in the path of righteousness. You reward your faithful servants and bring them honor and blessings. Friendship with the world is self-serving and leads to pride, and pride goes before a fall. The arrogant fool spouts what he thinks he knows to draw attention to himself - showing himself the fool. Humility serves the needs of others and seeks to do them good. Thank you, Father, that you exalt the humble for they follow after your heart. This world is passing away. Help me store up the riches that have an eternal reward. Amen.
