Today’s prayer
Written prayerYou are my treasure lord. Your relationship is what I value most in life. I can live without anything or anyone except you. I seek you for you and only you fascinate me with your love. I want to be where you are no matter where that is. I know if you are with me I am safe and you will protect me. There is no one who dazzles me with the wonder and wisdom of their ways like you do. You constantly challenge my attention and keep me thinking about what you are trying to teach me in the circumstance I am confronted with. I am constantly meditating on how to understand the complexity, yet the simplicity of your ways. There is hidden treasure in every nugget of wisdom I mine out the pressures of life. I know the trial I overcome in this life will be rewarded in heaven and that is where my treasure is. When I deny myself and sacrificially give to others, you appreciate and bless my efforts. I have no treasure here on earth. My life here is about developing my character and preparation for my life with you in heaven. You are teaching me how to love and how to reflect your love to others that they might know how much you love them. I am here to do your will and when my life is over my treasure will be in heaven with you. In Jesus name, amen.
