The prayer
Written prayerHallelujah! How amazing is this scripture? Death no longer has power over me. Christ was raised from the dead and will never face death again. He was the final atoning act of grace that set men free. I have nothing to fear for surely he will raise me up to be with him as he did Christ Jesus. I will live forever with my savior. The belief that death has been defeated and no longer has dominion, power, or rule over believers is the bedrock of my faith. The king of terrors no longer has any influence over my life. If it were not so I would be a fool for believing in a dead religion. But it is true and has been attested to by many witnesses All other religions are dead for none of their leaders were ever risen from the dead. Through the death and resurrection of Christ the last remnant of sin was destroyed and all its destructive influences are done away with. I am no longer a slave to sin. I can live to serve my glorious king with a clean conscience and find joy and peace in his presence. I am born anew and delight in the wisdom of your ways. In Jesus name, amen.
