Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, don’t ever let me get so full of myself with pride that I threaten to break away from you. I don’t want to see your word as controlling chains or bands that hold me back from doing what I want to do. I love you, Lord, and everything you do is to protect me from the grip of the enemy that wants to drag me into hell. Lord, don’t loosen your hold on me and keep me safe. Hid me in the security of your love for me. If any bonds or chains need breaking, they are the ones the enemy wants to put on me to prevent me from growing in my knowledge of you. Amen.
